My incredibly pathetic attempt at drawing Raphael. Of the three Doma Warriors, he is undoubtedly the hardest for me to draw (really ripped, masculine-looking guys are just one of my many artistic drawbacks, unfortunately).
Btw, give Raphael some love because--again, out of the three Doma Warriors--he needs it the most, I think.
*eye twitch*.....*hyperventilates and dies 9 times over* AIIIIEEE!! So many fangirlish thoughts passing through my mind at once, it's hard for me to compose a proper sentence! XD You drew Raphael! EEE!! *dies again* He's my absolute favourite anime character out there! And you drew him!! Not only that, but you did a marvelous job on it! I've always adored your style of highlighting/shading and drawing, and you did such a wonderful job on this and the other Doma characters I would fav this 98 times and more, if I could! It's sooo beautiful! *cries*
It's sad that he doesn't get a lot of fanart...I'd draw him but...I'll wait until I can actually draw peoples really good... ._.;;;
Anywayz...!: I think this came out really great!

Wow, thank you! ^^ I had no idea you liked Raphael so much! But I'm very happy, because at least I know that there are people out there who like him, also! And thank you so much for the compliment on my picture! I still worry over the composition of it (particularly his face)...I don't have much skill when it comes to drawing poor Raphael, I'm afraid...-_-
Anyway, thank you so much for the absolutely wonderful comment and favorite on this! I'm very flattered, thank you once again! ^_^
You didn't do that badly at all, it's better than I can do. I agree Raphael is the hardest to draw...he's just kind of different than a lot of the other people on YGO. Anyway, you got the Raphael serious-look down perfectly. And the feathers! You can never have Raphael without the feathers, you drew them quite well. The only thing I wanna point out is the coat. I think it's supposed to be a bit bigger than that and go up higher. I remember when attempting to draw him,I had to keep making the coat bigger and bigger...then I gave up...-_-
Fan-ness wise, I agree! The amount of Raphael fanart is rather pitiful...the horrible dub 'Rafael' (why must hey insist on changing the spelling?!>_< didn't help give him any more fans. I don't even think he has a fanlisting does he? Last time I checked he didn't... Well, I must confess that in the earlier part of Doma, Raphael was reffered to be me as the 'scary big dude' and I didn't like him very much. Then during his second duel with Yugi...I cried and all that. He really is probably the most well developed of the Doma boys. If he were a petite, little, pretty boy during Doma... he would have a lot more fans.

Nice work. I like Raphael because he isn't a scrawny pretty boy - more like a loveable lug in the tradition of Fighter or Caboose (though significantly smarter).
Emaciated isn't always the way to go. ^_^
