I'm coming out: I love Marth. I really do.

I love his awesome blue hair. I love his girly headband / tiara. And I love how he's only one letter away from having a chick's name. XD

It's just too bad Marth isn't actually from the Zelda series, because he'd totally spice up those games. He and Roy both. (It's too bad there aren't more [human] prince characters in the Zelda series period, because I love all prince characters--even the pompous, arrogant, incredibly vain ones). Seriously, I am so sick of the lack of young, attractive-looking guys in the Zelda games. Sure, there's Link...but that's pretty much it. I mean, there's ample amount of young, attractive-looking chicks in the Zelda games--so why not add a few more guys to appease the lusting fan girls? It may be hard to believe, but not every Zelda fan girl is hopelessly in love with Link, you know.

Anyway, whiny semi-rant aside, I've had this drawing sitting on my desk for a long time now. I finally decided to color it because...I don't know, I've been in a Marth-y mood lately. This is just a cheap and completely screwed up pic that I threw together one night, but I'd like to create a much more refined portrait of Marth sometime soon because I think he deserves it. And speaking of this picture, it really sucks. The poses were rendered in such an awful way, and the coloring on Zelda's dress is really bizarre and awkward (she looks way too bloated O_o ).

So yeah, I didn't exactly put a whole lot of effort into making this. But I like Marth, and I like Zelda. And I think I secretly like it when they're paired together--then again, I kind of like it when Zelda's paired with pretty much any halfway attractive guy--so I was actually more than happy to draw this ).

In any case, give Marth some love, everyone! He needs fan girls.
