These are just 4 of the 6 "outside assignments" I did for my Life Drawing class. You can see I've done a hand and feet study...the rest (including the two drawings I didn't post here) are all self-portraits.

The top right image was supposed to incorporate foreshortening (and yeah, that angle makes me look really fat, I think...). The bottom left image was supposed to be a "psychological self-portrait" or something, so I just threw some crap together and tried to pretend it held a deep and sincere message about the inner workings of my mind. In reality, it's mostly just that I didn't have enough time to do a self-portrait with my face showing (faces take me much longer to work on, 'cause I suck like that ), so I decided to pose with my hand covering my face to make things a helluva lot easier on myself. Yes, I am a cheap lazy ass. XD; Although I have to say, despite my blasé attitude toward this assignment, it is a fairly accurate rendering of my own psyche--in that (I guess?) it denotes insecurity and antisocial behavior or something...which is so me. Lol.

Oh, and yeah, all of these pictures (especially the bottom left one) look really terrible because of my crappy camera and because I was too lazy to bust out the tripod.

And of course, these were all made with graphite.
